Terms of Use Privacy Policy Operation Policy

Article 1 (Basic Operation Policy)

a. This Operation Policy is a set of internal regulations to be collectively observed between JOYCITY Co., Ltd. ("JOYCITY") and users in order to consistently manage contingencies concerning the provision of PC/ console services ("the Service"). However, if there exists a separate operation policy or special policy for each service, the relevant policy shall take precedence.

b. Based on this Operational Policy, JOYCITY will make its best efforts to maintain order within the game and to protect users' right to enjoy the game by addressing complaints related to game operations and imposing sanctions on actions that may interfere with users' gameplay.

c. For the purpose of optimal game operation, JOYCITY may revise this Operational Policy from time to time. Any changes will be announced on JOYCITY's website or upon access to the in-game network services. Users are advised to regularly review such notices to avoid any disadvantage in the course of using the game.

d. If a user is found to have engaged in conduct that violates this Operational Policy, the user may be subject to measures such as website usage restrictions, game usage restrictions, or login restrictions, depending on the nature and severity of the violation. If the user believes that such measures are unjustified, the user may request corrective action through appropriate procedures.

e. Any matters not specified in this Operational Policy shall be determined and handled in accordance with the JOYCITY Terms of Service, JOYCITY Privacy Policy, as well as applicable laws and regulations and generally accepted social norms.

Article 2 (Users' Rights and Obligations)

a. Users' Rights
1. Users may submit inquiries, suggestions, and requests related to the game to JOYCITY through the methods specified below.
2. Submission Method
- Online Inquiry (Customer Support 1:1 Inquiry: Available at all times)
3. If a user suffers damage related to game usage caused by another user, the user may notify JOYCITY of such matter and request the application of this Operational Policy.
4. If a user believes that they have been treated unfairly or have suffered damage from JOYCITY during the course of using the game, the user may raise an objection with JOYCITY.

b. Users' Obligations
1. Users must respect the right of other users to enjoy the game. This is a mutual commitment among users to foster a healthy gaming environment.
2. Users must refrain from engaging in any conduct or expression that violates applicable laws and regulations while using the game service.
3. Users must not engage in collective actions for the purpose of defaming or disparaging a specific nationality, race, religion, ethnicity, gender, or disability, or for antisocial or illegal purposes.
4. Users must not use illegal software or hardware that may affect the game.
5. Users must not engage in advertising or promotional activities for commercial purposes.
6. Users must not use abusive language, vulgar expressions, or slang, and must not cause discomfort to other users through sexual expressions or depictions.
7. Users must exercise due care to protect their personal information and account IDs from unauthorized use by third parties, including installing antivirus software on PCs used to access the game and periodically changing account passwords.
8. Users must not engage in negligence in account management, or intentionally share or transfer personal information or account IDs.
9. Users must not engage in behavior that is considered abnormal under general common sense or social norms.

Article 3 (Name Policy)

a. "Name" refers to all designations selected by a user for use in connection with the game, including character nicknames used on the website or within the game.

b. Users are generally free to choose their names; however, names that fall under any of the following categories may diminish the enjoyment of the game and should therefore be avoided. If a user selects a name that falls under any of the categories listed below, JOYCITY may, without prior notice, impose sanctions in accordance with this Operational Policy or change or delete the name.
1. Names that may cause confusion with, or impersonate, JOYCITY employees.
2. Names intended to defame or disparage a specific nationality, race, religion, ethnicity, gender, or disability.
3. Names containing sexually explicit, obscene, or excessively vulgar language that may cause discomfort to others.
4. Names that may infringe upon the trademark rights or copyrights of third parties.
5. Names deemed to indicate intent to engage in illegal activities such as Cash transaction, item trading, or account trading.
6. Names containing abusive or defamatory language directed at others.
7. Names intended to advertise or promote a specific subject.
8. Names that are difficult to accept under the laws of the Republic of Korea or general social norms, or that may cause discomfort due to social controversy.
9. Any other names that JOYCITY determines require modification at its discretion.

c. Users who discover names that fall under the above categories are requested to report them to JOYCITY in order to protect the right to enjoy the game. JOYCITY may change such names based on reasonable and objective judgment.

Article 4 (System Error, Bugs, and Illegal Programs)

a. If a user discovers any system issues or bugs while using the game, the user must not disseminate such information to other users or exploit it, and must report it to JOYCITY immediately.
Disseminating or exploiting system issues or bugs interferes with or deprives users of the enjoyment and sense of achievement derived from fair competition. JOYCITY will take firm action against such conduct and may restrict game usage without prior warning.

b. If a user engages in any of the following acts, the user may be subject to disadvantages or sanctions in accordance with this Operational Policy:
1. Becoming aware of a bug but failing to report it to the operator and instead spreading information about the bug and its method of use to other users.
2. Gaining unfair benefits through abnormal methods, including abusing system mechanics.
3. Arbitrarily manipulating game data or playtime to obtain improper benefits or disrupt game balance.
4. Developing, using, or distributing hacks or illegal programs for malicious purposes.
5. Creating harmful bugs within the game or causing errors through hacking or similar activities.
6. Arbitrarily modifying in-game resources to create harmful bugs or cause system errors.
7. Charging or obtaining in-game currency through abnormal means, such as hacking or illegal payment accounts.

c. Users who receive sanctions for the above conduct may be managed under a separate internal blacklist, and if subject to future sanctions, may receive aggravated penalties.

Article 5 (Fraud and Cash Transactions)

a. Fraud
Fraud refers to acts that deceive other users through in-game systems (including trading, mail, messages, gifts, etc.) in order to obtain unfair benefits and cause harm to others. Such acts disrupt in-game order, deprive users of the enjoyment of playing together, and may also be punishable under applicable laws. JOYCITY will impose strict sanctions on fraudulent acts that cause harm to other users.

b. Cash transaction
1. As stated in the Terms of Service, all data related to in-game characters, items, and game currency are the property of JOYCITY, and users hold only the right to use them. Users may buy, sell, or exchange items and game currency with other users only through officially recognized in-game systems.
2. Cash transaction of items or game currency that are unlawfully generated through system errors, bugs, or illegal programs is not permitted. If it is objectively evident that Cash transaction has occurred, or if names, posts, or other conduct are deemed to indicate intent to engage in Cash transaction, game usage may be restricted.
3. This Cash transaction trading policy also applies to exchanges involving tangible goods or assets of value other than cash, as well as characters, items, or game currency from other games.
4. Any damage or liability arising from Cash transaction shall rest with the user who holds the right to use the relevant account.

Article 6 (Inappropriate Behavior)

a. Games are meant to be enjoyed by all users. As mentioned previously, inappropriate behavior during gameplay is strictly prohibited.

b. JOYCITY will continue to strive to block inappropriate posts or images from JOYCITY sites, notice boards, and game-specific communities. Please report any such instances immediately to customer support.

Article 7 (Website Operational Policy)

a. The bulletin boards on the game website are spaces provided to share various useful information related to the game and to support enjoyable gameplay. JOYCITY operates and manages the bulletin board services in order to foster a forum for healthy and constructive communication among users.

b. Among the posts uploaded by users to the website bulletin boards, if a post falls under the categories subject to website usage restrictions as set forth in Article 8 (Service Use Prohibition), JOYCITY may delete such post without prior notice to the author. Users who post such content may be subject to usage restrictions in accordance with the applicable policy.

c. If any civil or criminal liability arises from a post (including, but not limited to, defamation of others or copyright infringement), such liability shall rest solely with the user who posted the content.

d. Users must respect the copyrights and other rights of third parties. If a user becomes aware of any posts, photos, links, or comments that infringe upon the rights of others, the user is requested to notify JOYCITY through the customer support center so that appropriate measures may be taken.

Article 8 (Service Use Prohibition)

If a user engages in conduct during game use that violates JOYCITY's Terms of Service, this Operation Policy, relevant laws, public morals, or other social order, JOYCITY may, in order to protect other users' right to enjoy the game, restrict the use of the Service or JOYCITY's website in accordance with the criteria set forth in the Usage Restriction Table below.
However, JOYCITY will make an objective and reasonable judgment based on the purpose of the act, the facts, causal relationships, the severity of the damage, the impact on the game, and the violator's history, and will make every effort to provide a sincere response to any objections raised by the user.

※ Even if an action is not listed above, restrictions may apply depending on severity if it harms the game, other players, or violates laws.
※ Depending on the specific circumstances and the impact on the Service, penalties may be reduced or waived.
※ Repeated or severe violations may result in stronger penalties than those listed.
※ Depending on the violation or number of offenses, restrictions can apply not only to the account but also to the device's IP.

Article 9 (Restoration)

a. If items/game currency are lost or altered due to JOYCITY's fault or technical errors in the game, JOYCITY will make every effort to restore them only when the information and data can be clearly verified within the system. However, as certain incidents cannot be technically verified after a certain period of time due to operational management limitations, inquiries reported within 14 days from the date of the incident can be processed based on the conditions below.

- For issues caused by JOYCITY's negligence, item restoration is possible within the range that does not disrupt game balance. However, matters that cannot be verified with the current level of technology cannot be recognized as JOYCITY's fault.

- To process item restoration, detailed information such as the ID, character name, server name, most recent login time, time of damage confirmation, and a list of lost items must be known.

- In the case of character restoration, the character will be restored exactly as it was at the time of deletion. (The user cannot obtain any additional advantage, and any damage suffered before deletion must be reported separately.)

b. Restoration of data is not possible in the following cases, so please exercise caution.
- When issues occur due to the user's negligence in managing personal information
- When the matter cannot be verified based on objective data held by JOYCITY
- When damages arise due to failure to understand the JOYCITY Terms of Service, Operational Policy, or Notices
- When issues occur due to user negligence (character deletion, item loss, damages caused by not confirming trade details, etc.)
- When issues arise due to problems with the user's PC (lag, network failure, forced shutdown, abnormal termination, hardware errors, etc.)
- When damages occur due to illegal activities (use of illegal programs, damages caused by illegal transactions, etc.)
- When the user is not the actual owner of the account
- When the reported content is false
- Other cases where the damage is deemed to be the user's mistake based on the GM's judgment criteria

c. Restoration for victims of account theft will be processed in accordance with Section a and the basic item restoration principles. For account theft reports, processing is possible only when detailed information such as the ID, character name, server name, most recent login time, time of damage confirmation, and all details of the loss are fully provided. If account theft is confirmed, please contact customer support immediately, and note that actions may be taken in cases of false reports.

Article 10 (Dormant JOYCITY ID Policy)

a. JOYCITY may delete a user's JOYCITY ID if the following conditions are met, in order to prevent the ID from being used for improper purposes and to provide more stable and efficient services:
- The user has no login record for 12 months or longer; and
- The JOYCITY ID meeting the above condition does not contain any paid items with remaining validity.

b. If an account is classified as dormant, all information related to the JOYCITY ID or the character will be deleted after a oneweek notice period, which will be provided via email or public announcement. Deleted information cannot be restored.
During the notice period, the user may cancel the dormant status by logging into the game or otherwise accessing the Service.

Article 11 (Inquiries and Concern Policy)

a. Please contact Customer Support or send an email to support@joycity.com to submit inquiries or complaints about JOYCITY games. JOYCITY will promptly respond in the order in which the submissions are received.

b. JOYCITY will always value users' opinions, keeping in mind that such input initiates further development and optimal services.

c. JOYCITY will not become involved in disputes between users.
However, if JOYCITY confirms any violation of our terms occurs in said user dispute (such as violation of official terms, agreements, or policies provided by JOYCITY), JOYCITY will apply corrective action based on this Operation Policy. The Operation Policy is part of JOYCITY's effort to optimize user experience. All users are obligated to read and agree to this policy.

Article 12 (Protection of Customer Service Personnel)

a. Acts that infringe upon the human rights of customer service agents and interfere with their duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Submitting 1:1 inquiries that include abusive language, sexual harassment, personal attacks, or threatening expressions directed at customer service agents.
- Submitting 1:1 inquiries that contain only abusive language, sexual harassment, personal attacks, or threatening expressions unrelated to the game.
- Repeatedly submitting 1:1 inquiries containing abusive language, sexual harassment, personal attacks, or threatening expressions that interfere with customer support operations.
- Any other verbal or written conduct that may cause serious mental or emotional distress to customer service agents and interfere with the handling of 1:1 inquiries.

b. If the human rights of customer service agents are violated through 1:1 inquiries, measures may be taken in accordance with the operational policy as set forth below.

- Customer support services will be resumed once a 1:1 inquiry is submitted that does not contain any violations of the operational policy.

- If abusive language, sexual harassment, personal attacks, or threatening expressions continue even after a game usage restriction has been imposed, additional game usage restrictions (7 days) may be cumulatively applied.

- If abusive language, sexual harassment, or personal attacks occur across multiple accounts from the same IP address or device information, such accounts may be regarded as belonging to the same individual and subject to measures accordingly.

- If the infringement of customer service agents' human rights is deemed severe, as illustrated in the examples below, game usage may be restricted without prior warning.

1. Abusive language, insults, or verbal abuse targeting a customer service agent's appearance or specific body parts.
2. Conduct that includes requesting private meetings with a customer service agent or making obscene jokes.
3. Sexual expressions, abusive language, or verbal abuse targeting or involving a customer service agent's family members.
4. Showing images, such as photos, that may cause sexual humiliation or discomfort to a customer service agent.
5. Any other conduct that may cause sexual disgust or humiliation to a customer service agent.

This operational policy is part of JOYCITY's efforts to provide better game services so that all users may enjoy the best possible experience together. Users are strongly advised to familiarize themselves with this policy at all times to avoid any inconvenience or disadvantage in using the game.

Addendum
This Operating Policy shall take effect on March 31, 2026.
